Seyfer Automotive Specialties is hiring an experienced Classic Car Automotive Technician.
If you know the difference between a Quadrajet and a Holley, understand points and condensers, and aren't afraid of a vehicle that doesn't have an OBD-II port, we want to talk to you.
Seyfer Automotive Specialties has been working on cars for 65 years, and we're looking for a technician who has experience—or a serious passion for working on—classic, vintage, and older vehicles.
We're looking for someone who wants more than another job. We're looking for someone who wants a shop to call home.
This isn't your average repair shop position.
You'll diagnose, repair, maintain, and restore classic and older vehicles, working on systems ranging from carburetors and ignition systems to electrical, drivability, brakes, suspension, engines, and powertrains.
Responsibilities include:
My name is Ben Burns, and I now own Seyfer Automotive Specialties.
We're growing fast, and Seyfer is now our 7th location.
I know what it's like to be a great technician and feel unappreciated.
I started my company in 2013 after waking up one day and realizing I was working somewhere I wasn't appreciated. I decided that if I ever had my own company, I was going to do things differently.
That meant treating the people who work in our shops with respect.
It meant buying the equipment and tools our technicians need to get the job done.
And most importantly, it meant showing appreciation and building the kind of shop where great people actually want to work.
Are we perfect?
No.
But we're a heck of a lot better than most.
And I pay very well.
Maybe you've spent years working on older vehicles.
Maybe you're the person everyone calls when they can't get a carbureted engine to run right.
Maybe you simply love classic cars and want to spend your days working somewhere that appreciates that knowledge.
Either way, we'd like to meet you.
Apply today and come talk to us at Seyfer Automotive Specialties.
